2000 degreesHow Much Does it Cost?

Your cost is the cost of the pottery you choose to paint plus

$4/hr Studio time per child(12 and under)
$6/hr Studio time for adults

However we stop charging studio time after 1 1/2 hours. So the maximum studio charge is $6.00 a child and $9.00 for an adult regardless of how long you are with us.

The Studio fee includes unlimited paints , material, dipping, glazing and firing.

Is your pottery safe to eat off of or drink out of?

2000˚ Degrees uses only non-toxic paint (ceramic underglazes) and lead free over glazes.
In other words, yes our pottery is safe, usable, dishwasher safe and microwaveable.

How much does your pottery cost?

Our pre-fired bisque (pottery) is $3.00 - $49.00 however most pieces are between $9.00 - $16.00

Do we need a reservation?

No, just walk in! We do suggest reservations for groups of 5 or more.

Keep in mind that our busy time is always saturday afternoon. So for a more relaxing experience visit on saturday morning or evening. Sundays are better! Weekdays are best!

I have no artistic ability. Is there someone to help me?

The 2000˚ Degrees staff is well trained and though we won't do you project for you, we are always happy to assist with a pottery painting demonstration and answer any questions you may have. Do not hesitate to ask for assistance. We understand that many of our customers have not done artwork since the fourth grade. Absolutely no talent is required to have a good time! Remember sometimes it's not the destination but the journey.

What if I don't finish my project by closing time?

2000˚ Degrees has work in progress shelf.

We will hold your project up to 1 year so you can come in to finish it another day. You will be charged a studio fee each day you paint. So it is to your advantage to allow yourself enough time to finish your project when you come in. Suggested arrival time, two hours before we close.

2000 degreesI don't live in State College area. How can I get my finished pottery?

2000˚ Degrees will pack and ship any # of pottery pieces to any single location in the continental U.S. For $8.00.

We ship USPS priority east of the Mississippi and USPS first class west of the Mississippi.

When can I pick up my finished pottery?

The glazing and firing process by the 2000˚ Degrees staff takes approximately 48 hours. We will contact you by phone within 3 days of finishing your project.
